1. Marie Poppins

YAKFilms posts some of the most amazing dancers. I know that with my focus being on programming and game design I can not devote enough time to become a great dancer, but I hope to be good one day, and I have an immense amount of respect for those that are great. Showcased below is “Marie Poppins” popper extraordinaire. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

A little cliche, but quite a clever name if I do say so myself.

  2. Digital Tennis

    Digital Tennis

Over the past week I have been working on a small project to get some ideas for my game engine roughed-out. I have been developing Pong in OpenGL and Cpp. Basically what this allowed me to do was get a better grasp on DirectInput, OpenGL, and a working Dynamic Game State. Everything works pretty good. It could do with a menu, and scoreboard, but I will save simple but time-consuming features like that to my next project. I will probably release both binaries and source to this little project when I have the time to clean up the files.

  3. New background

I decided to make a new background! I wanted to keep the the polygon art style, but I felt green would be much nicer. I will probably keep doing this until I find the perfect background, but hey this is okay for now!

  4. New Design

So yeah, now I’ve launched my work-in-progress design. I guess this would just be the alpha, but it is functional enough. Over the coming months I will be adding bits and pieces to the site. It is now running with a WordPress back-end so it will be easier for me to add content, and now I have a blog! I’ve also made that poor piece of polygon art you see as the background. I hope to improve that as well. Haha. I still have a lot to do. I would also, at some point, implement my template system into the WordPress theme system. That shouldn’t be too hard since I can just call the PHP functions from the theme file and make a new base theme. Let’s see how this goes!
